You can see it in the mirror. Skin that looks a little less taut than it did, a little less plump, with fine lines a touch more visible. If you have tried something strong for it, you may have stopped a week in, when the redness and stinging arrived.
This was made for the long version. Eleven ingredients, built on bakuchiol at 2% over a base of light plant squalane, gentle enough to stay with. No water, no preservative, and nothing to activate.

Bakuchiol is the purified plant compound, here at a stated 2%, and it is what this whole formula is built around.
It is in here for the look of smooth, firm skin. What you notice is a plump, bouncy look and a smoother-looking surface, and it builds gradually over weeks of steady use.
There are no acids alongside it and nothing to activate, so it is gentle enough to press in morning and night. That is the part that matters here, because what you see comes from staying with it.
Left out on purpose
No retinol. No acids. No water. No preservative, because there is nothing here for anything to grow in. No synthetic fragrance and no essential oils.

Truly fragrance-free, with no caveat. As a waterless oil it carries none of the benzyl alcohol found in our water-based products. The rosemary is the leaf extract rather than the essential oil, which is what keeps the essential-oil-free standard intact.

How to use it

Warm a few drops between your palms, about three in the morning and five in the evening.

Press gently over the face and neck, and let the oil sink in on its own. No rubbing and no pulling.

Use it after your serum as the final step, or just under a butter or cream to seal it in.

BakuchiolPurified plant compound · 2% · the hero
The purified isolate at a stated 2%, rather than babchi seed oil. A single purified compound carries far less alongside it than a whole seed oil does, so there is less here for skin to argue with. It is what the formula is built around, and it is in for the look of smooth, firm skin.
SqualaneOlive-derived · the largest ingredient
An olive-derived, skin-familiar squalane with no scent of its own. It is what makes this the lightest oil in the line. Olive is in the Oleaceae family, which is the note for anyone who tracks it.
Rosehip, Pomegranate & HibiscusCold-pressed and CO₂
Rosehip sits in the rose (Rosaceae) family, hibiscus in the mallow (Malvaceae) family, and the pomegranate is food-derived, all named here for those specific allergies.
Algae AstaxanthinHaematococcus Pluvialis (Astaxanthin) Extract
The vivid antioxidant complex that gives the oil its deep red colour. The companion carotenoids are naturally present in the extract and no colorant is added. It is algae-sourced rather than shellfish-derived, which matters for a shellfish allergy.
Sunflower Seed Oil & TocopherolBoth sunflower-derived
Sunflower arrives as the carrier for the vitamin E and the rosemary. It is about 0.22% of the bottle. Sunflower is in the daisy and ragweed (Asteraceae) family, which is the note for anyone watching that family.
Rosemary Leaf ExtractLamiaceae, the mint family
A rosemary leaf extract rather than the essential oil. A light mint-family note for anyone who watches that family, and it is what you may catch as a faint herbal edge.
That is everything in the bottle. Nothing hidden, nothing implied. If a particular ingredient gives you pause, the sunflower carrier if you watch the ragweed family, patch test a small area first. You know your body best.

How long a bottle lasts
Three drops by day and five by night is the whole of it, so the amount you need is smaller than the habit suggests.
We have not printed a month figure, because ours would not be yours.
Whether it is preserved, and why not
No, and it does not need one. There is no water in here. A preservative exists to stop things growing in water, and with no water there is nothing to grow in. That is one more thing left out on purpose, and it is part of why the list is as short as it is.
What is in here instead is vitamin E and rosemary extract. Those are antioxidants. They slow the oils turning over time, which is a different job from preserving, and worth knowing the difference if you read labels closely.
Storing it
Cool, out of direct sunlight, cap closed. Oils mind light and heat more than they mind anything else, so a sunny windowsill and the shelf above a hot shower are the two places to avoid. A drawer or a cupboard is ideal.
If it arrives warm, and when to stop
Warmth in transit is nothing to worry about here. There is no water and no emulsion in this bottle, so there is nothing to melt and nothing to split. Leave it somewhere cool and it will be exactly as it should be.
What to watch for over a long time is the smell. Plant oils turn eventually, and when they do the scent goes sharp or flat rather than soft. If yours smells different from the bottle you opened, stop using it on your face and tell us, and we will replace it.
