The Magnesium Ritual Experience
Find your magnesium ritual.
You do the work. The butter helps your hands move.
Different days ask for different textures — cooling, warming, or quiet. A few questions about how you'd actually use it, and we'll point you toward the one that suits the ritual you'll return to.

A slow ritual, made for systems that react
Your body carries more than your mind remembers. Not as a flaw — as a form of care. Some days that surfaces as places that feel tight, or heavy, or quietly far away from you.
A ritual is a small, sensory anchor. Warmth held between your palms. A texture that softens under pressure. Chamomile and lavender, there as scent — nothing more asked of them.
Not to “fix” you. This is time set aside, your own two hands, and a butter that makes them easier to move. The work is yours. It always was.
The Ritual
Pause before you begin.
Move slowly enough that you can keep up with yourself.
What the butter is for
It gives your hands slip, so a long stroke can travel without drag. Shea, coconut, and mango butter over an olive-derived base. That is the whole of its job.
The sequence below works with bare hands. The butter only makes it easier.
Warm the butter between your palms.
Bring your hands to your body without touching — take one slow inhale.
Apply with long, intentional strokes that follow your breath.
Move slowly enough that you can keep up with yourself.
Pause with your hands over an area that feels tight — chest, shoulders, belly, or back.
Let your breath go all the way out.
A slow return to yourself.

Bring the ritual home
Keep something soft within reach.
A small, sensory anchor for the days that ask for one — and hands that already know what to do with it.
Return to yourself, one ritual at a time.
Formulated for reactive, easily-overwhelmed skin — including skin navigating eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, or MCAS. We suggest a patch test on the inner forearm, left 24 hours, before wider use.
Our magnesium butters are unscented or scented with essential oils depending on the SKU, and are preserved with benzyl alcohol. Full ingredient lists and cross-reactivity notes live on our allergen page.
Indiefog products are cosmetics — made to cleanse, soften, and comfort skin, not to treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Use alongside your doctors, never instead.
