Some weeks skin just looks flat, and you want the brightness back. For reactive skin, that is usually where things get complicated. Strong vitamin C and acids sting, and clay tightens as it dries, so you finish redder than you started and stop trying.

A nine-ingredient powder mask built on ascorbyl phosphate, a stable form of vitamin C, with tremella mushroom and a soft fruit base. Used once or twice a week, it leaves skin looking brighter and feeling hydrated. No activation, no sting.

The mask is a soft powder you mix to your liking, a few minutes of slow ritual, and it rinses away to leave skin looking fresh and dewy. A weekly glow, on your terms.

Radiance Mask is a dry powder built on a stable form of vitamin C with a soft fruit and mushroom base. It is formulated to the tolerance of the most reactive skin, and there are nine ingredients in the jar.

Sensory Notes

A soft, fine powder that blooms into a creamy, comforting paste when mixed. It goes on smooth and cool, and it stays comfortable as it sits rather than tightening. It rinses away clean, and skin is left looking fresh and dewy, soft to the touch.

Scent: soft rose with something fruity behind it, closer to a bowl of berries than to a rose perfume. It is gentle and short-lived, present while the mask is on and gone with the rinse. Nothing was added to make it smell that way. Because rose naturally carries some of the compounds that appear on fragrance-allergen lists, we say no synthetic fragrance here rather than calling it fragrance-free. The transparency section below explains that in full.

How to Use

Mix a small scoop

Stir a small scoop of powder with a little water, or with your essence, into a soft, spreadable paste.

Smooth it on

Apply an even layer over clean, dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Take your time. This is the ritual.

Let it sit

Relax for 10 to 15 minutes while the mask settles. It stays comfortable as it sits.

Rinse and glow

Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry. Follow with your serum and butter. Use once or twice a week.

Where it sits in your routine

This is the middle step, once or twice a week. Cleanse first with the Hydrate or Brighten Cleansing Bar, then this, then finish with the Defy Face Butter or whichever elixir you already keep.

It is the optional one. Skip it in a week when you have nothing spare, and the routine still works. If you also keep the Cacao Renewal Polish, use one or the other rather than both in a night.

Care & Keeping

How long a jar lasts

Half a teaspoon does a whole face, and you are using it once or twice a week, so a jar goes a long way. Most customers get 9 to 12 months from one.

Whether it is preserved

It is not, and it does not need to be. This is a dry powder with no water in it, so there is nothing for anything to grow in. That is why the ingredient list is nine items long with no preservative among them.

Keeping water out of the jar

Water is the only thing that spoils a powder. Use a dry spoon or dry fingers every time, mix in your palm or a small dish rather than in the jar, and keep the lid on. Store it somewhere dry and out of the steam, which usually means a cupboard rather than the shower shelf.

If damp gets in you will see it before you smell it: the powder clumps and stops blooming smoothly. That is the point to stop using it.

If it arrives in hot weather

Nothing to worry about. A dry powder has nothing to melt and nothing to separate, so heat in transit does not affect it. It may settle in the post, which is why the jar can look less full than you expected. Give it a gentle shake with the lid on.

About the scent

This mask has a soft, natural scent of coconut and rose and fruit, and it comes entirely from the botanicals themselves, with no synthetic fragrance and no essential oils added. Because that scent includes rose, which naturally carries some of the same aromatic compounds that appear on fragrance-allergen lists, I do not call this one bare “fragrance-free.” If you are highly fragrance-reactive, that is the honest note, so you can choose with open eyes.

The soft, soothing powder base. Coconut is labeled a tree nut in the US, though coconut allergy is uncommon and separate from true tree-nut allergy. Colloidal oatmeal soothes most skin, and it is a known contact allergen for some people with oat-sensitive eczema. It naturally contains avenin, an oat protein in the gluten family, named here for anyone with a coconut, oat, or gluten sensitivity.

Vitamin C & Snow MushroomAscorbyl Phosphate, Tremella
A gentle, stable form of vitamin C, among the lowest-irritation forms, plus snow mushroom. The mushroom is fungal-derived, so this is the note for anyone with a mold or fungal sensitivity.

Fruit & Rose BotanicalsPassionfruit, Dragonfruit, Strawberry, Green Tea, Rose
The bright fruit and flower botanicals. Strawberry is a common food allergen, and with rose it sits in the rose (Rosaceae) family.
