i. The Signal

When your skin feels hot, tight, and quick to react.

Reactive skin often runs warm and thirsty — flushing easily, feeling tight after cleansing, quick to react to whatever comes next. On those days the last thing it wants is another active or another step. What it wants is a drink of water and a moment to settle.

Harmony Essence was made for exactly that pause.

ii. The Ritual

A cooling, hydrating veil.

A soothing, cooling essence built on a weightless base of aloe water, layered with hydrating botanicals and mushrooms. It settles onto warm, reactive skin like a cool veil — hydrating, comforting, and quiet. A quiet moment of calm in the middle of your routine.

The texture is a weightless, watery essence that absorbs instantly and leaves skin feeling plump, dewy, and cool. Pressed in with the palms, it is the pause between cleansing and the rest of your ritual.

Made for skin that

iii. The Standard

Why this essence is different.

A water-based essence this clean is hard to make — most rely on fragrance and filler. Harmony Essence is built on skin-loving botanicals and held to the standard the most sensitive, reactive face demands.

Autoimmune & Sensitivity Transparency

A cooling pause for reactive skin — and open about every ingredient.

I formulate for bodies that react to almost everything, including my own — so I build for less, and I name all of it. Harmony Essence is a weightless, cooling layer of hydration — aloe water and skin-familiar humectants, with no actives and nothing activating — and it’s genuinely fragrance-free and essential oil-free. If you’re navigating an autoimmune condition, MCAS, eczema, psoriasis, or skin that runs hot and reactive, this is a quiet drink of water for the face. Here’s the full picture.

Why it’s made for reactive skin

Genuinely fragrance-freeNo synthetic fragrance and no essential oils — and no benzyl alcohol, so the claim holds without a caveat.
Cooling comfort, no activesAloe water and skin-familiar humectants — hydration and calm, nothing activating.
100% natural · EWG 2An all-natural formula with one of the cleanest possible EWG ratings.
Gently preservedA naturally-derived ECOCERT preservation system, safe for reactive skin.

Genuinely fragrance-free

This is one of the products I can call fragrance-free without a caveat. There’s no synthetic fragrance and no essential oils, and the naturally-derived preservation system contains none of the benzyl alcohol that, as a declarable fragrance allergen, keeps the water-based butters from carrying that claim. There’s no added scent at all — this essence is essentially odorless, just aloe water and soothing botanicals.

Every ingredient, named

Here is everything in the bottle — nothing hidden, nothing cherry-picked. This essence includes several mushroom- and ferment-derived botanicals; the notes below are written for anyone with a mold or fungal sensitivity, or an aloe allergy, so you can decide with the full facts in hand.

Open the full ingredient list
Aloe WaterAloe Barbadensis Leaf Water
The cooling, hydrating base — a fractionally distilled aloe water. Aloe is an occasional sensitizer, named here for anyone with that specific allergy, though reactions are uncommon.

Mushroom & Ferment BotanicalsCordyceps, Lion’s Mane, Snow Mushroom, Aureobasidium Pullulans Ferment
The soft, conditioning, water-holding botanicals that give the essence its character. They’re fungal- and ferment-derived, so this is the note for anyone with a mold or fungal sensitivity.

Humectants & SoothersPropanediol, Sodium PCA, Panthenol, Allantoin, Marshmallow Root, Green Tea
Skin-familiar humectants and gentle soothers that draw in moisture and add comfort — all very low-reactivity.

Natural preservationGluconolactone, sodium benzoate — ECOCERT
A naturally-derived system that keeps this water-based essence safe — and the reason it can be called fragrance-free, with no benzyl alcohol.

That’s everything — nothing hidden, nothing implied. If a particular ingredient gives you pause — the mushroom and ferment botanicals especially, if you’re sensitive to mold or fungi — patch test a small area first. You know your body best.
