Salicylate-Conscious
Our cleanest options for skin navigating salicylate sensitivity — with full transparency on every ingredient, and an honest account of where the edges are.
What this collection is, and isn't. We don't lab-test our products for salicylate content, so we won't put a number on it. What we can tell you is exactly what's inside: these formulas are built from ingredients with no known salicylate chemistry, and they're free of the usual topical culprits — willow bark, wintergreen, salicylic acid, and synthetic fragrance. We'd still suggest a patch test, because sensitivity is personal.
Built from salicylate-free ingredients
Each of these is composed primarily of defined molecules and pressed oils with no salicylate chemistry. Our most confident footing.

Pure Descent
A magnesium body butter on a shea, coconut, and mango-seed base, set with candelilla wax. No essential oils, no added fragrance, and no high-salicylate ingredients.
View productLikely fine — patch test first
Free of high-salicylate sources, but containing a botanical extract that may carry a trace. Named honestly rather than excluded.
Worth a patch test
Clear Elixir
Free of the highest-known salicylate sources. Contains a licorice-root extract that may carry a trace — see the product page for the full note.

Transparency cuts both ways. Two products in our line contain wintergreen essential oil — a natural source of methyl salicylate, and one of the highest topical salicylate sources there is. They're excellent at what they're made for, but they have no place in a salicylate-conscious collection, and we won't pretend otherwise.
