Each skincare line has it’s own unique tips and tricks to help get the best experience, results and maximize the products capability. We highly recommend each user read our Tips and Tricks to better understand our products, their useage and how to better customize a routine that fits your lifestyle and skin needs.

Water-Based Cleanser
- Our Water-Based Cleansers come in bar form and do not contain any soap. They are a natural, gentle surfactant, that can be used both morning and night.
- The bars are best kept in a soap dish by your sink or in the shower. It’s best they do not sit in water and dry out between uses, so that they last a long time.
- These bars create minimal suds, and can be used directly on the face or lathered in the hands prior to applying to the face.
- The bars will last 6+ months with daily use.

Oil-Based Cleanser
- Oil-Based Cleansers are applied with dry hands on a dry face.
- They are best used in your nighttime routine as the first step to remove oil and makeup from the day.
- After applying, rub oil with hands for a minute or two to remove all makeup and debris, then wipe away with a warm wet washcloth.
- Follow up with a Water-Based Cleanser for a deeper clean or skip the Water-Based Cleanser for a more hydrated finish.
- If using functional or active ingredients in your nighttime routine, we recommend doing a double cleanse with a Water-Based Cleanser to get a deeper clean for the functional ingredients to get down to the deeper layers of skin.

Facial Toner
- Toners can be applied morning and night, right after cleansing. They can be applied to dry cleansed skin or damp cleansed skin.
- Pump 2-3 squirts of Toner in the palm of your hand, rub hands together, and then apply to face and neck.
- Our Toners have snow mushroom, which penetrates and hydrates deeper than sodium hyaluronate, so we recommend adding toner to your routine.
- It’s an optional step, so if you do not op-in for a Toner, be sure to apply Facial Serum when face is damp or slightly wet from your cleansing step.

Functional Serum
- Functional Serums are those that have a purpose, which most of them do. They will contain peptides, hydrators, acids, etc.
- Our Serums are nutrient-dense, just like all our products, so only 1 pump is required to apply on the face and neck. If more than 1 pump is used, the Serum will take much longer to dry and may result in grittiness when applying face elixir or butter.
- Be sure Serum dries completely after applying – which you will know when the tackiness is gone. This usually only takes a minute.

Facial Mask
- A mask can be used daytime or nighttime, but is best used in your PM routine.
- We have a Vitamin C Plump Mask that is really amazing to use in your AM routine as well.
- Mix 1 tsp powder with approx 1/2 tsp water or hydrosol and let sit for a minute to thicken. Apply to the face with a brush or spatula and let dry completely before removing. Best removed with a wet washcloth.

Eye Elixir
- Eye Elixirs can be used both morning and night. They can be applied both under the eyes, and even the top and side of eyes.
- Avoid getting serums into the eye.
- Only 1-2 roller strokes are enough for each eye. Rub in elixir with fingers until fully absorbed.

Antioxidant Elixir
- Antioxidant Elixirs are for AM use only as they contain ingredients that block environmental stressors and toxins. These usually contain Vitamin C and/or antioxidant extracts.
- Wait for Facial Serum to dry completely before applying Elixir.
- If you feel a grittiness while applying elixir, this means your serum did not dry completely. If this happens, just lightly wipe off the grit with a towel.
- Elixirs are recommended 4-8 drops for face and neck, but apply only as needed for your face. More drops will result in more hydration and dewy skin.
- If using our Sun Butters, an Antioxidant Serum or moisturizer, this step can be skipped if desired. More Sun Butter will be needed for proper application and slip.
- If you are looking for a less dewy result in your skin, reduce or skip the Elixir altogether. You will most likely desire this in more humid/hotter summer months or if you live in a humid/hotter environment. But again, more Sun Butter will need to be applied.

Functional Elixir
- A Functional Elixir is for PM use. It doesn’t contain antioxidants or Vitamin C, which is targeted for daytime use.
- The Functional Elixir is a good primer for PM butters. They add more hydration and targeted benefits to your routine.
- They are an optional step.

Tinted Sun Butter
- The Tinted Sun Butters are for AM use only.
- They contain Vitamin C, antioxidants, non-nano uncoated zinc oxide for sun protection, tint to create a sheer finish and sodium hyaluronate to hydrate and lock in moisture.
- Apply only a small amount as needed and apply every 2 hours to keep your skin protected from the sun and daily stressors.
- In order to achieve a different result with your daytime skin, dewy vs dry matte finish, altering your products will help give you the results you wish.
- We recommend changing your routine slightly with the seasons (Winter dry months vs Summer humid months).
- Daytime Antioxidant Elixirs can be reduced or eliminated in your routine to achieve a less dewy outcome. We recommend doing this for the summer humid months.
- We also recommend our Lightweight Tinted Sun Butter for an even drier matte finish.
- Those who live in humid areas or who have oily/acne prone skin, we recommend the Lightweight Sun Butter.
- Adding an Antioxidant Elixir prior to the Sun Butter is personal preference, but offer a better slip for our Sun Butters since they are drying in nature.

Functional Butter
- Functional Butters are for PM use only.
- They are intended for extreme hydration and repair for overnight wear.
- They are heavier and designed to last 8 hours to repair the skin.
- Each Functional Butter contains beneficial ingredients that are recommended for nighttime use only as sun exposure is to be avoided.
