Natural deodorants can be a difficult buy, especially for those starting their deep dive into the natural deodorant world. So, we are here to answer many of your questions, cover concerns and uncertainties and get you through the hurdles of switching to a natural deodorant.
Benefits of Switching to Our Natural Deodorant

Non Toxic
Lets face it, most deodorant on the market has some sort of questionable ingredients. It’s hard to know what is safe and isn’t safe for your underarms. We created a truly non-toxic and non-irritating deodorant formula to beat the stink naturally.

Non Irritating
One of the most irritating ingredients in natural deodorant is baking soda. Baking soda is a wonderful deodorizer, all natural and easily beats the underarm stink, but it can irritate the gentle skin under your arms. Applying deodorant after shaving makes the irritation even worse, which isn’t practical.

Skin Moisturizing
Dark, dry or rough underarm skin can be very common with natural and non-natural deodorants. It matters what you put on your pits – not just that it’s non-toxic. Hydrating ingredients like cocoa butter, coconut oil, and vitamin e, help maintain healthy hydrated skin.

Fragrance Free
Our products are only formulated with essential oils and CO2 extracts. We do not use any fragrances, synthetic scents or perfumes. Fragrances, even in so called “natural deodorants”, are toxic and should be avoided. Many companies use these synthetic scents because they are cheaper and provide the “wow” factor for the nose.
How to Use Our Deodorant
Since our deodorant is 100% natural, it gets harder in the colder months and softer in the warmer months. For best results in the winter months, let deodorant bar sit against the underarm for 10-15 seconds for it to warm up before applying. Apply a light amount underarms.

Most Asked Questions
- Why does my deodorant have small bumps in it?
Formulated with all natural ingredients, each of these require different melting and solidifying temperatures. Because of this, some of the deodorant can harden separately in your tube while being stored in your drawer. You’ll notice once used, these small bumps can disappear, but then reappear the next time you use your bar. Completely normal. - Why is my natural deodorant causing me irritation?
One of the most common irritants in natural deodorant is baking soda. We recommend only 1% baking soda in any natural deodorant in order for it not to cause irritation. If baking soda isn’t one of the last ingredients listed in your natural deodorant, it may cause irritation. We choose to omit baking soda from our formula, so irritation shouldn’t occur. - Why isn’t my natural deodorant working for me?
If you are switching to a natural deodorant, it can take up to 3-4 months to detox from the toxic ingredients from your last deodorants. You can speed up the detox process by applying bentonite clay masks your your pits. - Why am I sweating?
Antiperspirants block the bodies pores from sweating out the toxins. We want to sweat – sweat is good. Keep on sweating!!! - Do your deodorants contain any harmful ingredients?
Our deodorants do not contain harmful ingredients such as aluminum, parabens, fragrances, triclosan, talc, or propylene glycol. We do not believe harmful substances belong in any of our skincare or on your body. They can cause cancer, disrupt hormones and the endocrine system. - Why is my deodorant sometimes hard to apply?
Natural formulas like ours use raw butters and oils, and these fluctuate with changes in the seasons and depending on their surrounding temperature. Our deodorants are also packaged in compostable tubes, which naturally have some exposure to the elements. We recommend holding the deodorant stick against the skin for 10-20 seconds to warm up prior to application. - Why is my deodorant leaving a light white powder on my black clothing?
Our deodorants use non-nano zinc oxide to helps reduce odor. This is a more gentle approach than baking soda, which most people are sensitive too. When deodorant is applied and comes in direct contact with black clothing, it might leave a slight white powder residue behind. We recommend allowing your pits to dry before putting on black shirts. If the white residue is found on your clothes, just lightly brush it away and it will disappear.
